The Post-NYSC Medical Officer will provide safe, evidence-based clinical care to patients while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to uphold the hospital’s standards of excellence and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care to out-patients and in-patients in line with hospital protocols
Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and continuous medical education
Respond to emergency cases and perform assigned call duties
Uphold professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and safety standards
Requirements
MBBS / MBChB from a recognized institution
Completed NYSC with valid discharge or exemption certificate
Full registration and current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
Sound clinical judgment and good communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in a dynamic healthcare setting.
