We are seeking a strategic and accomplished dual-role Manager to lead our business growth and estate management operations in Abuja.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with a proven track record in real estate business development and comprehensive estate management.
This role is critical for driving portfolio expansion, enhancing asset value, and ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance across our properties.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic business development and sales plans to identify and secure new real estate investment and development opportunities within Abuja and environs and meet set targets.
Conduct comprehensive market research, feasibility studies, and financial analysis for potential acquisitions and new projects.
Manage the entire lifecycle of the company's property portfolio, including residential and commercial estates, ensuring optimal occupancy, tenant satisfaction, and asset preservation.
Serve as the primary liaison with key regulatory bodies, government agencies, and community stakeholders to facilitate approvals, ensure compliance, and maintain positive relations.
Prepare and present detailed business proposals, investment memoranda, and performance reports to senior management and potential investors.
Oversee estate operations, including maintenance, security, service charge administration, and vendor/contractor management to uphold high standards.
Develop and manage budgets for both business development activities and estate management operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial targets are met.
Lead and mentor a team of business development and estate management officers, fostering a culture of high performance and professional development.
Implement and enforce policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, risk management, and service delivery across all managed properties.
Network actively within the industry to build relationships with brokers, investors, and partners to generate a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. A Master's degree or an MBA will be a distinct advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive, verifiable experience in a combined role involving real estate business development and hands-on estate/property management.
Relevant professional certification
Demonstrable experience and a strong network in liaising with Abuja-based regulatory bodies (e.g., FCDA, AEPB, Development Control, Abuja Geographic Information Systems AGIS) related to real estate.
Must reside in Abuja and have an in-depth, working knowledge of the Abuja property market, investment landscape, and regulatory environment.
Flexibility to work outside standard hours as demanded by business needs, client meetings, and estate emergencies.
Candidates must be within the age bracket of 35 to 50 years.
