Job Summary




  • The Security Monitoring & Operations Lead is responsible for leading Hydrogen’s security monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence operations.

  • The role oversees 24/7 monitoring activities, investigates suspicious security events, manages SOC tools and technologies, and ensures effective detection, analysis, and remediation of security incidents.

  • The position also provides strategic leadership to the SOC team, drives continuous improvement, and ensures full visibility and protection across the organization’s IT and multi-cloud environments.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversees 24/7 monitoring, investigation, response, and remediation of security incidents. Leads threat intelligence programs, forensic investigations, and SOC procedure development.

  • Coordinates with IT and global security teams, monitors KPIs, supports audits, and drives continuous improvement.



Educational Qualification




  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; a relevant Master’s is an advantage.

  • Professional certifications such as GCIH, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CHFI, CCNA, or OSCP are added advantages.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of threats, intrusion techniques, attack vectors, and SOC technologies. Experience with SIEM, security device management, operating systems, applications, and databases. Skilled in forensic analysis of network traffic, packets, and log files.

  • Analytical & Operational Expertise: Skilled in incident management, vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, risk-based security analysis, and preparing dashboards, reports, documentation, and compliance materials.

  • Leadership & Professional Attributes: Possesses strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and initiative with the ability to coach teams, manage critical incidents, and drive operational improvements.

  • Supervisory Skills & Experience: Demonstrates capability in team building, conflict management, coaching, influencing, organizing workflows, and providing managerial and administrative leadership with 8–10 years of experience in the Information Security field, preferably in security or incident response with strong SIEM and security device management exposure.
