Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, theft, or damage
- Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized persons enter the premises
- Observe and report suspicious activities or security breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
- Enforce company rules, safety regulations, and security procedures
- Write clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Assist visitors and staff with directions and security-related inquiries
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification with 2-4 years experience.
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role is an advantage
- Good observation and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response
- Must be reliable, disciplined, and of good character.
