  • We are seeking a highly analytical, innovative, and detail-oriented Research & Development Officer to support its investment strategy, product development, and market intelligence efforts.

  • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in conducting research, analyzing financial markets, and developing new investment products and solutions.



Key Responsibilities




  • Conduct in-depth market research, economic analysis, and industry studies to support investment decisions.

  • Gather and analyze data on financial markets, competitors, emerging sectors, and macroeconomic trends.

  • Develop research reports, investment insights, whitepapers, and briefing notes for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support the design, development, and enhancement of investment products (mutual funds, wealth products, structured products, etc.).

  • Collaborate with the Fund Management and Business Development teams to create innovative investment solutions.

  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry changes that impact investment products and strategies.

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify market opportunities and evaluate product feasibility.

  • Assist in portfolio review exercises, risk analysis, and performance attribution as required.

  • Maintain research databases, dashboards, and models for continuous analytics.

  • Participate in presentations and strategy sessions, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.



Qualifications & Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Investment Management, or related fields.

  • 5 –10 years experience in investment research, data analysis, product development, or similar roles in an investment or financial institution.

  • Strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data-analysis tools.

  • Familiarity with financial markets, asset classes, and investment products.

  • Excellent report-writing, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving ability.
