Job Summary




  • We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Credit Administration Manager to support our growing credit operations.

  • The ideal candidate will ensure proper documentation, effective monitoring of mortgage facilities, and full compliance with regulatory and internal credit policies.



Key Responsibilities




  • Manage end-to-end credit documentation for all approved mortgage and loan facilities.

  • Verify completeness and accuracy of all documents before disbursement, including property documents, valuations, credit bureau reports, and insurance.

  • Ensure timely perfection of mortgage documentation and security creation (legal mortgages, equitable mortgages, etc.).

  • Maintain an updated credit file system both physical and electronic for all customers.

  • Monitor credit facilities to ensure compliance with approval terms, repayment schedules, and collateral requirements.

  • Track expiries (property insurance, valuations, offer letters, legal documents) and coordinate timely renewals.

  • Prepare regular credit portfolio reports, exposure summaries, and performance updates for management.

  • Work closely with Credit, Legal, Risk, and Operations units to ensure seamless credit processing.

  • Ensure adherence to mortgage banking regulatory guidelines (e.g., CBN, NDIC, and Mortgage Board).

  • Assist in loan recovery follow-up and resolution of documentation gaps.



Qualifications & Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • 5–10 years credit administration/credit operations experience preferably in a Mortgage Bank or commercial banking environment.

  • Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, property perfection processes, and collateral management.

  • Familiarity with CBN credit guidelines, IFRS reporting expectations, and mortgage-specific regulations.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and documentation management.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to compliance.
