Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calls
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximize advertising revenue
- Present, promote, and sell the radio station’s advertising products and services to prospective and existing clients
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and advertising contracts
- Negotiate advertising rates and terms, and successfully close sales deals
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Conduct market research to identify advertising trends, competitors, and client needs
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates
- Handle client inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution
- Collaborate with the marketing, programming, and creative teams to improve sales performance and campaign effectiveness.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in media, advertising, or radio broadcasting
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management abilities
- Target-driven with a strong passion for sales and marketing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
