Job Description
Background
- To support its effort, Malaria Consortium seeks to engage four People & Culture (P&C) Support Consultants with experience in large-scale, fast-paced recruitment processes to assist the People & Culture (P&C) Unit in ensuring efficient, transparent, and compliant recruitment operations.
Purpose of Assignment
- The P&C Support Consultant will provide recruitment support to the P&C Unit on recruitment related activities for the PF-SMC Project both full term and consultancy positions.
- This includes all stages of the recruitment cycle from sourcing and screening to documentation, compliance, and reporting, in alignment with Malaria Consortium’s P&C policies and donor guidelines.
Scope of Work
The consultants will:
- Support in the reviewing, sorting of all applications to provide a suitable longlist in line with the job description or Terms of reference (ToR).
- Providelogisticssupport towards the recruitment/ or selection process.
- Draft interview schedule and share for approval
- Arrange interviews, including correspondence with candidates and panel members.
- Take part in interviewsasassigned
- Prepare interview reports
- Conduct reference checks foridentifiedcandidates
- Prepare contracts fornew staff/short term Staff
- Send contracts to identified successful applicants/consultants
- Support with hiring flow movements on Recruitment+
- Perform any other related P&C tasks assigned by the supervisor
Expected Output / Deliverables
By the end of the engagement, the consultants will deliver:
- Provide long-listed CVs
- Prepare interview schedules for bothwritten testand oral interviews
- Produceaccurateinterview reports
- Ensure proper documentation of all support provided
- Ensure all recruitment documents including interview grids, pre-interview documents and other personnel documents are collated andforwardedasrequired
Required Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a P&C generalist or HR support role.
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume or field-based recruitment processes.
- Proven record in documentation, data organization, and administrative support.
- Knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and recruitment tracking tools.
- Must possess own working tools (e.g., laptop, internet connectivity).
- Previous experience with Malaria Consortium is an added advantage
- Previous working experience with MC and in SMC are added advantages.
Duration and Level of Effort:
- The assignment will cover 60 working days spread within Three months (January – March 2026).
- Days will be non-consecutive, based on workload and recruitment needs during the campaign period.
Location:
- The consultant will be based in Abuja, FCT, with possible virtual engagements as needed.
