Job Description
- This is a hands-on execution role. You’ll work closely with the Commercial, Project Finance and Customer Success teams to support customers in designing financially viable projects and preparing them for debt, equity, and grant funding. You’ll be deeply involved in financial modelling, project analysis, data processing, and funding application support.

Responsibilities
Financial Modelling & Analysis
- Build, maintain, and update project financial models using existing Okra templates.
- Run scenario analyses to evaluate project viability under different technical, commercial, and financing assumptions.
- Process and analyse project data (site surveys, historical performance, tariffs, costs) to assess project economics.
Project Development Support
- Support customers through early-stage project development activities, including:
- Processing and analysing site survey data
- Reviewing existing project performance data
- Assist in preparing project materials for internal design reviews and approvals.
- Support due diligence processes by preparing financial inputs, assumptions documentation, and data rooms.
Funding & Investment Support
- Support the preparation and submission of funding applications (debt, equity, and grants)
- Research and analyse relevant financing options (grants, concessional debt, export finance, short-term facilities) under guidance from senior team members.
- Prepare briefing materials and analysis for investor and funder discussions
Commercial & Internal Processes
- Support the drafting of commercial documents and contracts through financial and commercial analysis.
- Assist in ensuring internal processes are followed, such as KYC and credit policy checks, Internal project design and commercial reviews
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to support project pipeline development and execution.
Required Skills
- University Graduate (Finance Preferred)
- 1–2 years experience in project finance and/or Consulting, Infrastructure, energy, or development finance roles
- Experience working with projects or businesses in emerging or developing markets is a strong plus.
Hard Skills
- Strong financial modelling skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Comfortable working with data and large spreadsheets; high attention to detail.
- Ability to create clear, structured presentations and written materials for internal and external use.
- Basic familiarity with commercial contracts and financial terminology
