Program Overview




  • The IHA Mentorship Program is a 4-month guided journey designed to support early-career African women through a high-impact Bootcamp in June focused on clarity, skills, and readiness and a structured Mentorship Program from July to October, combining learning, accountability, and community.

  • This program aims to provide guidance, support, and a platform for skill development, fostering a community of growth and empowerment.

  • Our program structure includes one-on-one mentorship consultations, webinars and networking sessions, and an opportunity to work on a Capstone Project.



Responsibilities

Participants will engage in:




  • Curated learning modules

  • Monthly workshops and panel sessions

  • Group-based (“tribe”) collaboration

  • Mentorship and peer accountability.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:




  • Be a citizen of any African country and be able to actively participate in virtual sessions scheduled within African time zones

  • Hold at least an undergraduate Degree (or equivalent)

  • Have 0 – 3 years of post-graduation work experience

  • Be between 18 and 29 years old at the time of application

  • Be a resident in an African country. Be willing and able to commit 5–6 hours per week for the full 4-month duration of the program

  • Have reliable access to the internet and preferably a laptop or personal computer to fully participate in virtual activities.
