  • The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting management decision-making through reliable financial data.



Key Responsibilities




  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Record and review daily financial transactions using accounting software

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory regulations

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports

  • Manage payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

  • Support internal and external audits

  • Monitor cash flow and implement cost control measures.



Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Proven experience using QuickBooks and other accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, SAP)

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills

  • Must reside in Abuja.
