Our client is seeking a highly experienced General Manager to oversee business operations, procurement, vendor relations, and strategic growth initiatives across its locations.



Salary Range: ₦400,000 – ₦500,000



Role Overview



The General Manager will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, managing vendors and procurement activities, overseeing budgets, and supporting business growth and profitability. The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to execute strategic initiatives across multiple functions.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement business strategies to support revenue and margin growth

  • Identify growth opportunities and support new market entry initiatives

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform business decisions

  • Collaborate with finance on pricing, margin analysis, and financial planning

  • Streamline business operations to improve efficiency and reduce cost

  • Source, onboard, and manage vendors locally and internationally

  • Oversee procurement, sourcing, and purchasing activities

  • Manage budgets related to operations, procurement, and merchandising

  • Analyze business performance and recommend improvement initiatives

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to achieve business goals

  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and performance presentations

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management



Required Skills & Competencies




  • Strong understanding of business operations, procurement, and finance

  • Proven experience in vendor and supply chain management

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Analytical mindset with budgeting and forecasting experience

  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions

  • Results-driven, with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction



Education & Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • Master’s degree is an added advantage

  • Minimum of 5–7 years experience in business management, procurement, or vendor relations

  • Experience supporting growth and cost-optimization initiatives

  • International sourcing experience and trade fair exposure is an added advantage
