Job Overview

• To take ownership of the accounting function, ensure accurate and timely month-end close, and deliver reliable financial reports to support management and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and complete monthly book closures in line with internal timelines.


• Prepare and review trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and detailed management reports.


• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through accurate postings, journals, and reconciliations.


• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and cash flow management.


• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis, particularly within production operations.


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.


• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required financial documentation.


• Collaborate with production, procurement, and management teams to improve financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in plastics or industrial production is an added advantage.


• Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, financial statements, and management reporting.


• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.


• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
