The Marketing Associate will support the execution of marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, customer traffic, and sales across pharmacy outlets.
The role involves coordinating in-store and digital marketing activities, supporting promotional campaigns, and working closely with store teams to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
Responsibilities
Execute marketing campaigns across multiple pharmacy outlets.
Coordinate and manage in-store promotions, activations, and community health outreach programs
Execute and monitor specific digital channels (social, website, SMS, WhatsApp, basic ads)
Work closely with store teams to ensure smooth rollout of promotions and brand consistency.
Responsible for driving walk-in traffic, repeat visits, and conversions
Work with store managers to convert first time walk in customers to repeat customers.
Execution of hyperlocal marketing around each pharmacy location
Community engagement initiatives (schools, religious centres, estates, SMEs)
Support partnership initiatives with NGOs, HMOs, and community health organizations
Track and analyze campaign performance, foot traffic, and sales impact
Manage relationships with vendors, printers, and activation partners
Conduct competitor and market analysis and turn insights into actionable recommendations
Support loyalty programs and customer retention initiatives
Contribute creative ideas for growth experiments and local marketing tactics
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
2–4 years of relevant marketing experience in retail, FMCG, healthcare, or startup environment
Basic experience with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google ads
WhatsApp and SMS marketing execution
Ability to track performance using Excel / Google Sheets
Understanding of Nigerian retail and healthcare consumer behaviour
Ability to adapt campaigns to different neighbourhood demographics.
Strong execution and project coordination skills
Ability to create basic marketing materials using tools like Canva and brief designers effectively
Hands-on experience with both offline and digital marketing
Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with store managers and sales
