Responsibilities

Job description of a dispatch rider:

• Delivery & Collection: Transporting items (documents, parcels, products, medications) between locations, ensuring they arrive intact and on schedule.


• Route Management: Planning the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, often using GPS.


• Vehicle Maintenance: Performing daily checks, keeping the motorcycle/bicycle clean, reporting fuel usage, and arranging maintenance.


• Record Keeping: Maintaining delivery logs, obtaining signatures, and recording delivery details.


• Customer Service: Communicating delivery status, handling cash/payments (if applicable), and representing the company professionally.


• Safety & Compliance: Adhering to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and procedures for handling sensitive materials.
