  • Negotiate service agreements and parts replacement with international OEMs such as GE, Siemens, and Philips.

  • Optimize the patient journey from triage to discharge using the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) to reduce wait times.

  • Oversee non-clinical services including hospitality, catering, laundry, and facility services to ensure a premium patient experience.

  • Collaborate with the CFO to manage operational budgets, control costs, and reduce wastage across departments.

  • Ensure full compliance with the National Health Act, HEFAMAA (where applicable), and regional environmental and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • MBA or Master’s in Health Systems Management is highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 12 years’ operational experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within a multidisciplinary hospital or a high-intensity industrial environment (e.g., Oil & Gas, FMCG).

  • Strong understanding of health informatics, hospital operations, and advanced diagnostic equipment.

  • Proven experience navigating the socio-political and logistical landscape of South-South Nigeria.

Essential Skills

  • Crisis and emergency management

  • Strategic negotiation with vendors and international partners

  • Process improvement and operational efficiency (Lean Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage)

  • Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive executive salary package (Expat or high-level national scale)

  • Performance-based bonuses linked to uptime, patient satisfaction, and profitability

  • Opportunities for international exposure and training in hospital management best practices
