Job Brief
- The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s mechanical and electrical products, accessories, and solutions to clients in the building and construction industry.
- The role focuses on developing new client relationships, managing existing clients, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop sales opportunities for mechanical and electrical products, accessories, and building solutions.
- Promote company products and services to contractors, architects, interior designers, and other key stakeholders in the building industry.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including contractors, architects, and interior designers.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and client requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain client records, track sales activity, and report progress to supervisors.
Market Intelligence & Networking:
- Develop and leverage a network of contacts within the building industry to generate sales opportunities.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor products, and client preferences.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to strengthen relationships and promote company products.
Coordination & Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and commercial, to ensure smooth execution of sales orders.
- Prepare basic sales reports and updates on client interactions and opportunities.
Requisite Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any relevant field; a background in sales, marketing, or business is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales of building materials, home furnishings, or mechanical/electrical products to the building or construction industry.
- Familiarity with the building industry, contractors, interior designers, architects, or related networks is an advantage.
- Proven track record in client acquisition, relationship management, and achieving sales targets.
