Job Summary
- The Audit Associate will support audit engagements by examining, preparing, and analyzing financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and relevant audit experience in a professional audit firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and audit schedules.
- Review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in planning and executing audit assignments.
- Identify risks, errors, and control weaknesses, and report findings to senior team members.
- Maintain proper audit documentation and working papers.
- Support the preparation of audit reports and management letters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 – 4 years of audit experience.
- Strong ability to prepare and analyze accounts.
- Full knowledge of accounting standards.
- ICAN certification or ICAN-in-view is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 / month
