Job Summary

• Flexi MFB is seeking a skilled Chinese Translator to support effective communication between Chinese-speaking stakeholders and internal teams. The role will provide accurate Mandarin–English translation and interpretation across business meetings, documentation, and strategic engagements, ensuring clarity, cultural alignment, and business accuracy in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time verbal interpretation (Mandarin - English) during meetings, calls, and executive engagements


• Translate written materials including business documents, contracts, emails, presentations, and reports


• Support senior leadership and cross-functional teams in engagements with Chinese partners


• Act as a cultural and communication bridge to minimize misunderstandings and improve collaboration


• Review and proofread translated content for accuracy, tone, and consistency


• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Chinese Studies, Linguistics, or a related field


• 3+ years’ experience as a professional Chinese Translator or Interpreter


• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written)


• Strong understanding of business and professional terminology


• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and professionalism


• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple translation requests

Preferred Qualifications

• HSK Level 5 or 6 certification


• Experience in fintech, finance, technology, or multinational organizations


• Exposure to China–Africa business environments
