Job Summary

• The Hostel Nanny will provide care, supervision, and emotional support to primary school boarders, ensuring their safety, hygiene, and overall wellbeing within the hostel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during morning routines, evening prep, meals, and bedtime.


• Assist pupils with personal hygiene, dressing, and basic life skills.


• Ensure hostel rules, routines, and child safeguarding standards are strictly followed.


• Monitor pupils’ health and promptly report concerns to hostel management or the school nurse.


• Support a nurturing, disciplined, and child-friendly hostel environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in child care, boarding school, or similar setting.


• Ability to work with young children patiently and responsibly.


• Basic literacy and good communication skills.


• Willingness to work flexible hours and reside on campus (if required).


• Background in Early Childhood Care is an advantage.
