YOUR MISSION




  • The Area Growth Lead is responsible for driving execution across all functions in their designated areas - working closely with the Commercial, Growth, Expansion, Supply Operations, and Partner Operations teams. The role requires a strong blend of commercial acumen, analytical depth, and hands-on execution to accelerate growth of their area.

  • The Area Growth Lead acts as the key execution driver, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into concrete actions and results on the ground.



THE JOURNEY




  • Translate national growth priorities into actionable area & neighbourhood plans, ensuring consistent execution

  • Lead weekly & monthly business reviews, identify performance gaps, and drive corrective actions with clear owners and timelines

  • Design and execute local marketing and acquisition strategies tailored to their designated areas

  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to expand selection, focusing on high-potential neighborhoods and stores

  • Drive neighborhood -level partner performance: ensure top stores are live, and well performing

  • Work with the Supply Ops to ensure optimal Delivery Times, rider availability, and customer experience

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary area team - fostering ownership, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Promote Glovo culture and ensure high team morale, engagement, and performance.



What You Will Bring To The Ride




  • Proven experience owning end-to-end execution in hands-on roles, including field-based work (e.g. field visits, partner visits, on-the-ground execution)

  • Willingness and ability to spend significant time on the ground to gather insights, troubleshoot issues, and drive execution

  • Strong problem-solving skills with comfort working in data-driven settings

  • Familiarity with Lagos Mainland settings

  • Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, logistics, food delivery, or FMCG

  • Exposure to city-level or territory ownership role
