Job Summary




  • Our client, an interior design company, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee interior design projects from concept to completion.

  • The ideal candidate will coordinate teams, manage timelines and budgets, liaise with clients and vendors, and ensure projects are delivered to specification, on schedule, and within budget.

  • This role requires strong organisational skills, site coordination experience, and a passion for design execution.



Key Responsibilities




  • Manage interior design projects from planning and design phase through execution and final handover.

  • Develop project timelines, schedules, and work plans, ensuring all deliverables are met on time.

  • Coordinate with designers, contractors, artisans, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct regular site visits to supervise installations, quality of work, and adherence to design specifications.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the project team, providing updates and managing expectations.

  • Ensure materials, furniture, and fittings are delivered on schedule and installed correctly.

  • Identify and resolve project issues, delays, or site challenges proactively.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures on project sites.

  • Prepare project reports, progress updates, and completion documentation for management and clients.



Qualification




  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Building Technology, or a related field.

  • 1–2 years’ experience in project coordination or management, preferably within interior design, construction, or fit-out projects.

  • Basic understanding of interior design processes, materials, and site execution.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good communication and client management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management tools or design software.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
