Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced and talented Front-End Developer to join our team.


• This position will be responsible for innovative software development with a focus on building services with flexible design, scalability and performance.


• As a Developer, you will be actively involved in all stages of development from scope all through launch.


• You will work with Project Managers and Designers to work on various challenging projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the architecture, design, development, implementation and technical documentation of product plans.


• Designing, building and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements


• Directing the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications


• Planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design


• Translate product vision and requirements into software design


• Reviewing code work for accuracy and functionality.


• Collaborate with other developers within IT and the business to implement solutions for cross-functional IT operations, internal business needs and customer-facing applications


• Build solutions that utilize cloud-native services from a variety of IaaS and PaaS providers, such as AWS and CloudFoundry.


• Writing testable, scalable and efficient code and leading code reviews


• Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to current Microsoft technologies.


• Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications


• Participate in agile development activities, including sprint planning, standups, and demos


• Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, estimates, and work plans


• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget


• Mentoring team members

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related degree


• 3+ years of experience with ASP.NET, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, Linux, CSS, MVC3 and Web Services


• 3+ years of experience in Software development and testing


• Solid programming language knowledge and understanding of the lifecycle of applications


• 3+ years of experience in technologies such as Visual Basic, PHP, C#/C++ and Microsoft .NET framework development


• Proven success as a technical team leader


• Proven ability to document design processes, including development, tests, analytics and troubleshooting


• Working knowledge of ORM and SQL technologies


• Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum


• Experience in delivering multi-tier enterprise-scale SaaS solutions


• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and writing (Junit, NUnit)


• Strong knowledge of database structures and data access methodologies


• Proficient in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Source Code Management, and PLC documentation, including training support teams


• Ensure quality and timeliness of personal and team deliverables


• Strong Leadership Skills.

Salary

N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
