Job Summary
- The Area Sales Manager (Spare Parts) is responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and profitability of automobile spare parts within an assigned region.
- The role focuses on dealer and distributor management, channel expansion, team supervision, and execution of sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve regional sales targets for genuine and aftermarket automobile spare parts.
- Appoint, manage, and expand spare parts dealers, distributors, and retailers.
- Ensure optimum stock availability, inventory rotation, and reduction of obsolete parts.
- Develop and implement area-wise sales plans, schemes, and promotional activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, counterfeit parts, and customer feedback.
- Strengthen relationships with workshops, fleet operators, and institutional customers.
- Ensure proper branding, visibility, and merchandising at dealer outlets.
- Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and aftersales teams for smooth operations.
- Review sales performance, credit control, collections, and outstanding management.
- Prepare and submit periodic sales, market, and performance reports.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 – 8 years of experience in automobile spare parts sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of spare parts distribution, pricing, inventory management, and dealer networks.
- Proven track record of achieving regional sales and revenue targets.
- Good leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
