We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales & Business Development Officer to oversee our travel and tourism operations.
The Sales & Business Development Officer will be a key driver of growth, responsible for identifying new market opportunities, expanding the client base, cultivating strategic partnerships, and generating significant revenue in the travel and tour sector.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new B2B partnerships, including travel agencies, corporate clients, destination management companies (DMCs), online travel agencies (OTAs), and relevant industry associations.
Nurture and grow relationships with existing high-value partners to maximize cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and presentations on sales performance, market insights, and business development initiatives for senior management.
Establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and tour operators.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
2-3 years’ experience within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
In-depth knowledge of the travel distribution channels (e.g., B2B, B2C, OTAs, GDS) and a strong network within the industry.
Strong knowledge of travel operations, airline ticketing, and tour packaging.
