- The Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing cybersecurity opportunities across mid-market and enterprise customers.
- This role requires strong consultative selling skills, deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions, and the ability to align security offerings to business and risk objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for cybersecurity solutions, from prospecting through deal closure and handover.
- Identify and qualify opportunities for MSSP services including SOC monitoring, SIEM, incident response, cloud security, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
- Engage customers in consultative discussions to understand business risks, compliance needs, and security maturity.
- Develop tailored proposals, pricing, and value-based business cases in collaboration with pre-sales, SOC, and engineering teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, and IT leaders.
- Work closely with Customer Success and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term account growth.
- Manage pipeline health, forecast accurately, and meet or exceed assigned revenue targets.
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging cybersecurity threats to inform sales strategy.
- Support renewals, upsell, and cross-sell initiatives across existing accounts.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3–5 years selling cybersecurity solutions or services.
- Proven track record of closing complex, consultative deals in cybersecurity or technology services.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as SOC operations, SIEM, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), compliance frameworks, and incident response.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (pre-sales, engineering, SOC, customer success).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling MSSP or managed security services.
- Exposure to regulated industries (financial services, fintech, healthcare, telecoms).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, cloud certifications) are an advantage.
