Job Summary
- The Associate Product Manager will support the end-to-end product lifecycle across multiple client projects, from discovery and requirements gathering through delivery, iteration, and performance tracking.
- This role is suited to an early-career product professional who is comfortable working in a services environment and eager to build strong execution, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support product discovery activities, including user research, client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and market analysis.
- Translate client and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
- Support backlog creation, grooming, and prioritisation in collaboration with senior product and delivery leads.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Track product progress and performance against agreed milestones and success metrics.
- Support testing, quality assurance, product releases, and handover to clients.
- Prepare product documentation, demos, and internal or client-facing reports.
- Ensure alignment between client objectives, delivery scope, and Techbeaver’s internal standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Technology, Business, Engineering, or related discipline).
- 1–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, project coordination, consulting, or a related role.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging client stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse problems, structure requirements, and think from a user- and value-driven perspective.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience working in a software agency, consultancy, or client-facing environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, Linear, or Figma.
- Exposure to startup, fintech, health-tech, or platform-based products.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
Reporting & Working Relationships:
- Reports to: Product Lead / Chief Technology Officer
- Works closely with: Engineering, Design, Operations, and Client Stakeholders.
