Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze global and local tax news, government policies, and legislative updates.


• Produce technical briefs and data-driven reports that inform the commissioning of stories.


• Verify the technical accuracy of all tax-related claims across Tax TV platforms.


• Identifying emerging trends and regulatory shifts.


• Utilize research findings to create actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Conduct field visits and go out to gather live news from stakeholders, agencies, and the public.


• Write thought-provoking and engaging content for Tax TV social media pages.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Taxation, Law, or Communications.


• 2–4 years of experience in research, journalism, or data analysis.


• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to simplify technical jargon.


• Strong data interpretation skills and familiarity with the Nigerian tax environment.
