Our client is a global trading and distribution company with a network of offices and subsidiaries spanning more than 29 countries seek to hire a smart young HR professional with potential who is willing to learn with a minimum of three years’ experience.


The Senior Human Resources Officer will oversee and supervise the organizations payroll function, ensuring employee benefits and salaries are processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.


Job Description



  • Collate inputs from all business units and share with payroll team for processing of employee salaries.

  • Ensure employees get paid correctly and promptly as per scheduled timeline.

  • Ensure effective administration of pensions and benefits.

  • Handle all post payroll activities: – NHF & NSITF payments via Remitta platform, schedule processing and submissions to respective government agencies.

  • Provide support in the execution, development, and implementation of HR/Employee Engagement initiatives i.e. townhall meetings, newsletter publications, Fun Fridays, Coffee with Business Heads etc.

  • Provide support in the execution of various tasks which includes employee onboarding, mid-year and end of year performance reviews, employee engagement surveys etc.

  • Maintain, keep, and update employee records monthly for future reference in line with the MIS schedule.

  • Provide new hire/exit projections on a monthly basis.

  • Compile and submission of annual tax returns to LIRS office to ensure compliance.

  • Handle validation and submission of expatriate information to SSS office on a monthly basis - capturing Nigeria understudies.

  • Provide support with computation of manpower budgeting.

  • Support management with regular validation of the company’s organogram based on company’s business plans and objectives.

  • Supervision of the outsourced employee’s salary inputs ensuring zero errors.

  • Ensure processing and provision of compliance certificates – PENCOM, NSITF, ITF & GROUPLIFE for business use.
