The Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads, closing sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
The role involves understanding customer needs, promoting company products or services, and achieving sales targets within a defined territory or market segment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to prospective customers.
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
Provide reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential for new products/services.
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the market.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing events as required.
Handle customer complaints and queries effectively.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Proven experience as a sales representative or similar role.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
