Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
Master’s degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Membership of relevant professional bodies such as CIBN; ICAN/ANAN and other operations or risk certifications are added advantages.
Experience:
Must have 15–20 years’ experience in banking or financial service; At least 7–10 years in senior management or executive leadership roles, preferably within a mortgage bank or commercial bank.
Strong hands-on experience in mortgage operations, branch management, digital banking, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
Proven ability to oversee large-scale banking operations and drive operational efficiency.
Strong understanding of CBN, NDIC, FMBN, AML/CFT, KYC, and consumer protection regulations from an operations perspective.
Demonstrated expertise in process automation, digital transformation, and operational risk management.
Strong financial and cost management capabilities, including cost-to-income optimization.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
High ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to build resilient, high-performing teams.
