Role Overview

• We are seeking a Back-End Developer to design, build, and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs. This contract role reports to the Head of Technology and is critical for platform scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain backend systems and RESTful APIs.


• Manage and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).


• Implement authentication, authorization, and payment integrations.


• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration.


• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues.


• Document architecture and code according to company standards.

Required Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 4–6 years of back-end development experience.


• Experience with Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java (Node.js preferred).


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).


• Knowledge of Mongo db, RESTful API design and database management.
