Job Summary
- The Sales Manager is responsible for driving company revenue by developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing the sales team, expanding the customer base, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
- The role requires strong leadership, market insight, and the ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals
- Set sales targets and ensure achievement through effective planning and execution
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and distribution channels
- Monitor market trends, competitors’ activities, and customer needs
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate the sales team
- Assign territories, targets, and responsibilities to sales staff
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures
Customer & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors
- Handle major negotiations, contracts, and strategic accounts
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction
Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Track sales performance, forecasts, and revenue growth
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and marketing teams
- Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities and transactions
