Job Description
Objective:
Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Nigerian financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports, management accounts, and audit documentation
- Maintain accounting records, general ledger, and fixed assets register
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and manage payables/receivables
- Manage supplier and staff payments
- Support budgeting, cash forecasting, and financial analysis
- Assist with tax filings and statutory compliance
- Liaise with banks and external financial stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years’ accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws is an advantage
- ICAN certification is an added advantage
