About the Role
- We are seeking a driven and strategic Resource Mobilizer to join our team full-time at our Ikeja office in Lagos. This role is central to CHDFNigeria’s sustainability and growth, focusing on mobilizing financial and non-financial resources, building partnerships, and positioning CHD as a priority within child health and development frameworks.
- This role goes beyond fundraising — it is about building relationships, unlocking access, and strengthening systems for children living with congenital heart disease.
Responsibilities
Resource Mobilization & Fundraising
- Develop and implement CHDFNigeria’s resource mobilization strategy.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with donors, foundations, corporates, and philanthropists.
- Lead grant scouting, concept note development, and proposal writing.
- Support individual giving campaigns and special fundraising initiatives.
Partnership Development
- Build strategic partnerships with hospitals, NGOs, professional bodies, development agencies, and private sector stakeholders.
- Mobilize in-kind resources including medical equipment, diagnostics, medications, services, and pro bono expertise.
Advocacy & Systems Engagement
- Support advocacy efforts to integrate CHD into MNCH, UHC, and SDG-related funding and policy discussions.
- Engage with relevant government agencies and institutions to unlock funding, subsidies, and institutional support.
Donor Stewardship & Reporting
- Maintain strong donor communication through updates, engagement, and impact reporting.
- Track mobilized resources and support donor reporting requirements.
- Work closely with program teams to document and communicate impact.

- 5+ years of work experience with Grant Writing
- 6+ years of experience in Business Development
- 5+ years of Non-profit Organizations experience
- 5+ years of work experience with Board Presentations
- Master's Degree
