The Young Talent Program for Consumer Lending Specialists is designed to develop ambitious and results-driven graduates into skilled professionals in retail and consumer lending. Participants will receive structured training, hands-on experience, and performance coaching to support customer acquisition, loan processing, and portfolio growth while maintaining strong credit quality and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers for consumer loan products.
- Educate clients on loan offerings, eligibility requirements, and repayment terms.
- Support loan application processing, documentation, and verification.
- Conduct basic credit assessments in line with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, approvals, and disbursements.
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely repayment and portfolio quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Participate in training sessions, mentoring, and performance reviews under the Young Talent Program.
- Meet assigned sales and portfolio targets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk management guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
- 1 year of experience (NYSC completed or in progress, depending on company policy).
- Strong interest in sales, finance, and customer relationship management.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic understanding of lending or financial products is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
