Job Summary:

• Halifield Schools is seeking a competent, dedicated, and passionate Islamic Religious Studies (IRS) Teacher to teach at the elementary level. The ideal candidate should be skilled in simplifying mathematical concepts for young learners while also imparting strong Islamic values and morals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in IRS


• Teach basic numeracy, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills


• Teach Islamic morals, values, and foundational religious knowledge


• Prepare detailed lesson notes in line with the school curriculum


• Assess, record, and report pupils’ academic progress


• Create and maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment


• Work collaboratively with other teachers and school management


• Participate in school activities, meetings, and trainings

Requirements:

• Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, or relevant qualification


• Ability to teach both Mathematics and IRS effectively


• Prior experience at the elementary level is an added advantage


• Strong classroom management and communication skills


• Passion for teaching young learners


• High level of professionalism and good moral character
