Job Summary

Reporting to the COO, the eMedicStore Driver/Rider is the first point of contact for all the company’s transportation related issues. 

He has the responsibility of ensuring that the company’s properties such as cars and bikes entrusted into his care are adequately managed and used for official purposes only and 

He will have the responsibility of transporting the company’s staff and products, dispatching of orders, amongst other things, with the sole aim of conducting business, achieving organization goals and fulfilling the organization’s mission and vision. 

Also, He will work with the company’s Chief Operations Officer in ensuring the day-to- day running of the office and other delegated duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: What You Will Do and How You Will Contribute

• 
  

  Transporting company staff and/or products to and from specified locations in a safe, effective and timely manner.

  
  


• 
  

  Optimal involvement and assistance with the loading and unloading of products and dispatching of orders as directed.

  
  


• 
  

  Responsible for proper documentation of the company’s vehicle and licenses.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid vandalization or penalties.

  
  


• 
  

  Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.

  
  


• 
  

  Promptly informing the company of any issues arising from the use of the company vehicle during work hours as well as up to date appropriate vehicle registration 

  
  


• 
  

  Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.

  
  


• 
  

  Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.

  
  

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 
  

  Minimum of 4 years experience safe driving and riding experience to operate both two, three and four wheeled auto vehicles or motorcycles.

  
  


• 
  

  Valid Driver’s and/or riders License.

  
  


• 
  

  Have a smartphone and is optimally tech savvy with the ability to use google maps and other software applications. 

  
  


• 
  

  Good communication and people skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to multitask, prioritize and resolve issues.

  
  


• 
  

  Goal-oriented organized team player.
