Role Summary




  • We are seeking a detail-orientedProduction Pharmacistto oversee the manufacturing ofOral Solid Dosage (OSD)forms, including tablets, capsules, and powders.

  • The role ensures compliance withGMP, regulatory standards, and internal quality policies while maintaining production efficiency and accurate documentation.



Key Responsibilities




  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities within the OSD facility.

  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and safety protocols.

  • Monitor and control the production process to meet quality and efficiency standards.

  • Oversee equipment calibration, maintenance, and line clearance before and after production.

  • Prepare and review production documents including batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and batch packaging records (BPRs).

  • Coordinate with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) teams for in-process checks and timely release of products.

  • Train and mentor production operators and technical staff to enhance productivity and compliance.

  • Plan and allocate resources (manpower, materials, and equipment) to achieve production schedules.

  • Investigate and resolve any production deviations, equipment malfunctions, or non-conformances.

  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory audits and inspections.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.



Qualifications & Experiences




  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree with current license to practice (Pharmacist Council of Nigeria).

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (OSD experience is a strong advantage).

  • Good understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory standards (NAFDAC, WHO, etc.).

  • Experience with manufacturing equipment (e.g., granulators, tablet presses, coating machines, blister packing).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and production management systems.
