Job Summary
- The UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- The role involves translating user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into visually appealing and functional interfaces that enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to understand user needs and behavior
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs
- Design responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment
- Develop and maintain design systems, UI guidelines, and style standards
- Ensure consistency in branding, typography, color schemes, and interaction patterns
- Continuously improve user experience based on analytics, user feedback, and usability testing
- Present design concepts and rationale clearly to internal teams and stakeholders
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design

Qualifications
- Certification/OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a portfolio of completed projects
- Experience working in agile or product-driven development environments
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability standards
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
- Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools
- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-platform compatibility
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and frontend development concepts (advantage)
- Strong visual design skills including layout, typography, and color theory
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
