Job Summary
- The Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic financial leadership across the Group’s portfolio companies in Real Estate, Construction, and Manufacturing.
- The role is responsible for financial planning, risk management, capital structuring, performance optimization, compliance, and governance to ensure sustainable growth and profitability across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Advise the Board and Executive Management on financial planning, investments, expansion, and risk mitigation.
- Lead financial modeling for large-scale real estate developments, construction projects, and manufacturing operations.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across subsidiaries.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining operational efficiency.
Group Reporting & Consolidation
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Implement strong financial controls across all entities.
Treasury & Capital Management:
- Manage funding strategies, banking relationships, and capital raising initiatives.
- Oversee debt structuring, project financing, and investor relations.
- Optimize capital allocation across business units.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Establish enterprise risk management frameworks across the Group.
- Ensure tax planning efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee internal audit functions and strengthen corporate governance.
Operational Oversight:
- Evaluate project profitability in construction and real estate portfolios.
- Monitor production cost structures and inventory management in manufacturing.
- Support procurement and contract negotiations from a financial standpoint.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and mentor finance teams across all subsidiaries.
- Build strong financial management capacity within the Group.
- Promote a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, (MBA preferred).
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
- Minimum of 8 –15 years’ progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in executive leadership.
- Experience in real estate development, construction project finance, or manufacturing operations is essential.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Proximity to the Island is an added advantage.
