Responsibilities

Key Result Area 1 - Technical support to Business Development & Maintenance Services:




  • Assist the Business Proposal Management & Orders with technical inputs on quotations for in-house engineering works

  • Achieve a detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasingPlans, construction sequencing and project schedule.

  • Preparation of documentation and SLA agreement for customers

  • Perform Engineering Field Surveys

  • Respond to request for POCs, design and meeting with clients to aid business success



Key Result Area 2 - Installation & Project Management:




  • Prepare Project/contract ’s bill of materials and cost-estimates

  • Supervise Contract/Project’s implementation and Processes

  • Monitor project implementation towards achieving the desired design goals

  • Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between subcontractors during construction.

  • Carry out installation of Telecommunications systems and allied products.

  • Assist in the receipt and review of all submittals.

  • Log and post all changes and as-built information on field drawings.

  • Assist in the scope review, budgeting and justification of change work order.

  • Assist in the installation of in-house engineering work.

  • Direct, monitor and control the activities of all subcontractors and others involve in contract execution

  • Understand contracts, drawings, Specification and Scope of work; its impact on the contract and systematic and rational solutions to complete the required task effectively and time



Key Result Area 3 - Third Party Management:




  • Attend to customer inquiries, identifying their needs & request etc. with a view to guide them to choose our solution in meeting their needs.

  • Search for new products and carry out product technical presentation and documentaions

  • Attend to duties as assigned by line MGR relating to maintenance of and Support of Telecommunications systems

  • Ensure options are available for client consideration and customer’s needs are satisfied

  • Timely and workable Bill of materials with proportionate cost-estimate with respect to the defined scope of work/client’s requirement with cost effectiveness.

  • Provide adequate information to aid an appropriate, adequate and robust engineering design to meet up client’s requirement adequately and effectively

  • No of contracts and tenders achieved



Key Result Area 2- Installation & Project Management:




  • Ensure 95% compliance with PIP and SLA per project/Contract

  • No of delivered projects/Contracts

  • No of resolved complaints

  • Customer satisfaction ratings



Job Specification




  • Education: B.Eng. / B.sc / M.Eng / HND



Professional Qualification




  • CCNP, CCNA R&S, MNSE, MNIEEE, COREN, ACSR Contact Center Solutions, ACSR Education, ACSR Go Midmarket, ACSR Healthcare, ACSR Hospitality, ACSR LAN SMB, ACSR OmniPCX Enterprise, ACSR Open Touch Suite for SMB, ACSR Open Touch, ACSR Solution Premier Service, ACSR WiFi SMB, ACSR Transportation, ACSR Open Touch Enterprise cloud for SME, D-link Certified Cabling Expert (DCCE), Training/Certification on Motorola or related products, Certifications on Microwave product, CCTV systems, PAGA, ACS etc.



Experience: 




  • Minimum 7 years in a ICT / Telecoms Engineering & Services

  • Minimum 3 years in Project / Contract management
