Suacasa Nigeria Limited, a leading real estate development company, is seeking a competent and proactive Safety Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across its construction sites
The ideal candidate will ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and minimize workplace risks.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor site safety policies and procedures.
Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.
Identify hazards and enforce corrective measures.
Lead safety inductions, drills, and toolbox talks.
Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
Maintain safety documentation and compliance records.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Promote continuous safety awareness on all project sites.
Qualifications
B.Sc / HND in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related disciplines
NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or other recognized safety certification is required.
Professional membership with relevant safety bodies is an added advantage.
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant experience in construction health and safety management.
Core Competencies:
Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
Risk assessment and hazard identification expertise.
