About the Role
- The role will be responsible for the Financial Accounting Unit activities including GL account reconciliations, Vendor accounts reconciliations, preparation of statutory financial statement and end-to-end processing of statutory returns.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting in line with IFRS.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage payables, receivables, and cash flow positions.
- Perform end-to-end processing of statutory remittances and returns.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
- Assist in expense tracking and cost control initiatives.
- Support operational coordination, logistics tracking, and documentation.
- Monitor inventory-related financial and operational records.
- Support audit processes and internal reviews.
- Coordinate with internal departments on administrative and operational matters.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor company cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with internal control, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Group Head, Finance & Accounts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2–3 years relevant work experience.
- Good knowledge of IFRS, Payables and statutory deductions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
