Job Description
Role Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs across our interior design and property development projects.
- The ideal candidate will ensure financial efficiency from concept to completion while maintaining our premium standards and project timelines.
- This role requires strong cost control ability, technical understanding of construction and finishes, and the confidence to engage contractors and vendors professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Planning & Budgeting:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Develop project budgets aligned with design intent and client expectations.
- Conduct cost analysis for materials, finishes, and construction methods.
- Provide early-stage feasibility cost advice.
Procurement & Contractor Management:
- Prepare tender documents and evaluate contractor quotations.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors.
- Issue work orders and manage cost documentation.
- Monitor variations and ensure proper approvals before execution.
Cost Control & Reporting:
- Track project expenditure against approved budgets.
- Prepare periodic cost reports and forecasts.
- Identify potential cost overruns early and propose mitigation strategies.
- Certify interim valuations and payment recommendations.
Project Support:
- Attend site meetings and provide commercial input.
- Work closely with architects, project managers, and contractors.
- Ensure financial compliance with contractual agreements.
- Maintain organized project financial records,
Requirements
Experience & Education:
- BSc / HND in Quantity Surveying, Architecture or related field.
- 2-4 years relevant experience in interior industry
- Experience working on premium residential or commercial projects is an advantage.
- Professional membership is a plus.
