The Job
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels.
Issue materials based on requisitions while ensuring proper documentation.
Conduct routine stock checks, cycle counts, and physical inventory verification.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and preservation of goods.
Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
Implement and enforce safety, security, and cleanliness standards in the store.
Support in the isolation of obsolete or damaged stock in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
SSCE Holders and Diploma in any related field.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehousing.
Added Advantage: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
The Person Must Have:
Have good record-keeping and organizational skills to receive, store, issue, and account for materials, raw materials, and finished goods accurately.
Possess the ability to maintain proper inventory documentation, including stock cards, bin cards, GRNs, and issue vouchers, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of stock control procedures in an FMCG environment, including FIFO/FEFO principles, stock rotation, and loss prevention.
Be proficient in the use of ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office tools for stock monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting.
Have strong attention to detail, integrity, and teamwork skills to support production and warehouse operations, minimize stock variances, and meet operational requirements.
