Job Summary




  • FMR Agency is recruiting a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to oversee financial operations within a structured retail environment.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial records, preparing reports, reconciling transactions, supervising payroll, monitoring vendor payments, and ensuring accurate inventory and expense tracking. This role requires strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Ultimately, you will ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting to support effective business decision-making.



Key Responsibilities




  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

  • Reconcile daily cashier records, POS transactions, banking activities, and maintain accurate financial databases for vendors and suppliers.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales, expenses, petty cash, payables, and receivables reports.

  • Manage payroll preparation and ensure timely salary payments and statutory remittances.

  • Conduct periodic financial audits, oversee inventory financial tracking, and ensure proper documentation of all financial activities.



Requirements




  • Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting role, preferably within retail or supermarket operations.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory).

  • Experience in preparing financial reports, payroll, and vendor reconciliations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines consistently.
