Job Summary




  • The Job role entails that the Successful Candidate will manage, receive, and ensure that products/goods received are well-stocked and documented.

  • Furthermore, the Inventory officer will ensure customers’ orders are accurately and timely packaged for onward dispatch.



Job Responsibilities




  • Receive, store, and issue goods

  • Fulfill purchase orders

  • Record and track stock levels

  • Monitor the distribution of stock

  • Maintain stock records using manual or computerized systems

  • Draw up inventories

  • Check supplies against invoice and purchase orders and ensures orders are accurately packaged

  • To maintain a record of receipts as well as the issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse so as to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • To be involved in the reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system

  • To oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system within the stock location system so that the stock can be stored easily and retrieved whenever there is a requirement. Similarly, he ensures that the stocks stay physically protected in the warehouse

  • To undertake the function of stock taking and confirm the periodic stock on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff members

  • To supervise the offloading process, the subsequent arrangement of merchandise, material, etc., and consignment so that it can be accessed and identified easily

  • Work as a team member and in collaboration with the logistic department for efficiency service delivery.



Requirements




  • First Degree in Business Administration/ HND, social science, Art and Humanities,  accounting or related field.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to accomplish team goals and objectives

  • 2 – 3 years of work experience as an inventory officer or similar role

  • Good communication and representative skills

  • Ability to multitask and deal with situations

  • Attention to details

  • Data-driven with proficiency in computer soft wares..Excel, PowerPoint, sage etc

  • Ability to adapt within the working environment.

  • Ability to work in a team setting.

  • Must be ready to resume at a short notice.
