Job Summary
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of animal feeds, veterinary vaccines, premixes, and feed additives, while overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the Ibadan sales outlet.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Functions:
- Promote and sell animal feeds, vaccines, premixes, and feed additives to farmers, distributors, and agro-dealers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide technical guidance to customers on product usage and benefits.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts.
Administrative Functions:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Ibadan sales outlet.
- Manage stock inventory, ensure proper documentation, and prevent stock losses.
- Supervise outlet staff and coordinate sales activities.
- Maintain accurate sales, financial, and inventory records.
- Ensure proper cash handling and reconciliation.
- Liaise with head office on stock replenishment and operational matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Science or related fields
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in sales of animal feeds or veterinary products.
- Strong knowledge of livestock production and animal health products.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
