- He will be responsible for overseeing the Company’s Financial Accounts and leading the Account/Finance Department. Manages Accounts, Finance/Treasury, and Credit Control.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash flow management
- Regulatory compliance
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Preparing financial reports
- Assist in company-wide budgetary planning
- Analyze markets
- Developing and implementing internal control procedures
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Producing long-term business plans
- Providing strategic investment advice to management · Compiling, analyzing, and preparing financial information
- Coordinating annual accounting closures
- Managing accounting practices across the organization
- Managing potential financial disputes
- Prepare and present reports to management
- Risk management
- Supervise and mentor finance department staff
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS or local GAAP)
- Tax and regulatory compliance knowledge
- Financial modelling and analysis
- ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Risk management and internal control systems
Leadership & Strategic Skills:
- Team leadership and people management
- Strategic planning and business partnering
- Decision-making and problem-solving ability

Educational Qualification
- HND / B.Sc is compulsory. Having one or two certificates in these relevant fields is important: Accounting, Finance, Economics with 3–5+ years in senior management
- MBA (Master of Business Administration) — finance or general management focus
- MSc/Master's in Finance / Accounting / Economics
- ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) — Chartered Accountant
- ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
- CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
